Hi! We have a Bosch side-by-side, which we do love. We have only owned it for about six months and, so far, so good! And we love the look - so sleek and attractive; works great in our contemporary kitchen. A few things - I read some reviews where people thought it was too noisy - not my experience at all, though there are times you do hear the motor if it is kicking in to chill, when ice is dropping/being made, etc. - things I think are normal occurences with most fridges - and the manual states that you will occasionally hear these sounds. Others complained about the ice/water distributor and how it is difficult to know where to put the glass you are filling. Well, I can understand that comment as the layout is quite different than most other models - ice and water kind of share the same output - but after you use it the first time, you would have to be pretty dense to not know where the placement of the glass should be. This is actually one of the features we liked about the design - it just blends in so well with the unit - nothing clunky about it, no bars or levers in the cavity. The only downside I can imagine with this is that, as with most appliances today, the touchpad will eventually need replacing - touchpads and computer technology and their limits are simply a reality we have to live with in the 21st century.
