Great hostas! I'll have to think about adding them sometime down the line. I added four Lakesides this year - Kum Kaw, Old Smokey, Prophesy Fulfilled and Symphony.

Thanks everyone. The pictures really don't do them justice. The leaves of Grumpy Green are about a foot long by a foot wide, and is a very dark green in lower light.

Primarily I wanted these particular hosta because of their corrugation and unruly leaf growth, but I also understand that they are somewhat hard to find as far as Lakesides go.

Love the corrugation. All 3 are great plants. Where did you get them from? I would love to have them in my garden!

koffman--you are correct, these are definitely 3 of the rarest Lakesides. I'm guessing you got them directly from Rob Canning, as he's currently moving all of his hostas, and is dividing some as he goes. Great healthy looking plants, and very interesting leaf form and habit, they should mature into very impressive plants, and Uh Huh should be huge, the others very large.

Correct-a-mundo dhaven bought the plants directly from Rob. He's got some nice one's, some of which are streaked un-named crosses that if you purchase you can name, which I thought was pretty cool.

Have you ever visited Rob? Bet his place has to be fantastic! I know that he's moving his plants right now so I'm sure that he's extremely busy but I know that he sells very good plants that grow well. Got some last year which are fantastic even though it's their first year in my garden.

A savoy cabbage plant would feel right at home in your yard! Have you considered changing your screen name to "bumples"? ;-)
