Bought this and the seat height is not adjustable. Lever looks to be cosmetic only. Is there something I'm missing? There are no instructions included with the shipment.

    Hello, thanks for contacting Houzz. It takes a certain amount of pressure in addition to pulling the lever to adjust the height. Please try sitting on the stool, so that your weight works with the hydraulic lift. Pull the lever while you are sitting on the stool. Release the lever at the desired height. I hope this is helpful to you!
