For the bed, I'd go shopping. Stroll through a furniture store and see what they have. It's a big room, so you can really do almost anything.

OP, we all agree. Soft greens, built in TV shelf, layered bedding, an upholstered bed and a seating arrangement of two chairs and a soft ottoman.

And if you go with our unanimous recommendation, you can paint the walls in the bathroom white or very pale green, add a piece of art that brings in the green of the bedroom and beautiful white, fluffy towels that tie into the white bedding.

This would be easy to do and would add a lot to the two spaces.

Wallpaper the bathroom ( I wallpaper all my baths…) and then use a coordinate duvet…Serena and Lily.com

I did include a link with some of my ideas from other houzz projects, but those were mostly neutrals. I do like the blue suggestion. have some navy, teal and light blue in the rest of my house so that would work. I used comfort gray in another bathroom and it turned out looking baby blue and probably more saturated than I would have preferred. Would sea-salt possibly be a good option for this room? I'm a little bit nervous about the vast amount of wall space and a color so that's why I think I've had neutral in mind. I would say my style is just comfortable and classic/new traditional. what is behind the door by the loveseat? to me it looks like bath and closets are right inside the entry door. is that right? I think you should move the bed to where the taller dresser is between the windows and move that dresser to where the loveseat is now. if that is a closet door it makes that area a perfect dressing area not in direct sight of the entry. that allows you to still see the door from bed but doesn't make the bed the first thing you see when you open the door. your ceiling detail seem centered there. this leaves the area right inside the door as your sitting area. the loveseat where it is now just makes it seem an afterthought. use the low dresser for a tv if you need one in the room but they don't suggest one in the bedroom for the best sleep. floor to ceiling blackout drapes closed at night and open during the day. you can have sheers or blinds for privacy during the day. since it is a large room find some larger night table and lamps both sides of the bed. they don't have to match but should be the same height and color. in a large room I like a bench at the foot of the bed. keep the walls and furniture neutral and you can change the whole look buy changing bedding without having to repaint overtime. pick a color you love and go with it bring in the same colors to the master bath. I like having different coordinating colors for husband and wife. no confusion over who's is who's and it adds more color to the room. I have tried greens in my own bath and the just make you look sick if you want green keep it off the walls.

I like the monochromatic feeling of your bedroom now with the touches of black in the furniture. I would look for a fully upholstered bed so you eliminate the need for a bed skirt. I actually like your current wall color as it's very soothing. I think that because your room is so large, it can take a taller headboard.

The curtains look good in the room. I like the color of the room as is to be honest. Was there a color you hoped to use?

We had discussed sea salt... but I'm not sure. I don't like the current color because it is very thin, cheaply done by the builder & has a yellow undertone (hard to see in this light).

Sea Salt is a pretty color and could work well in your space. Samples are the only way to tell. If you want to stay neutral, take a look at SW Relaxed Khaki.

Why not just change the headboard to off white? There's stuff that is not that expensive.

I think a light bluish- gray would be nice but the best way to pick a color is to try a few samples out on your wall and pick what looks nicest....

You mentioned you are on a budget, look into second hand furniture on craigs list or into ikea for replacements for the loveseat. It doesn't need to cost a fortune to be beautiful!
