Accent Wall with Repose Gray SW

I am looking for tips on an accent wall that will go with repose gray and the attached painting that will go above the fireplace. I was thinking to do the side walls Repose Gray by Sherwin Williams and potentially Peppercorn by Sherwin Williams for above the fireplace, though I am worried for it to be too dark. I am looking for alternate suggestions for the accent wall color and whether to paint just the wall with the fireplace or the entire back wall with accent color. Any input is appreciated!
