hey "shabby chic" them-good design features some juxtaposition- modern with traditional- use them in a room that has no architectural interest

Can't say how they relate to your current aesthetic in any way...if they were expensive ...the best way to get any $ is usually a high end consignment store...

If you have a bathroom with high ceilings ...spray painting one with a color to match the walls would tone it down enough style-wise to insert a little personality to the room...if that looks good it may work if you have a little entrance area at the back door as well...all of this depends on if you love them enough to try to incorporate them

I would spray paint them a nice bright color like red, or white, or silver or even gold. you can always put them in a walk in closet, or bathroom, or even a hallway. Ive used left over chandeliers in places like garages, powder rooms, home offices, laundry rooms, places where you wouldnt really think of putting them and then end up looking fabulous!

I would say that no, they are not worth the trouble to refinish. Do you know anything about them (manufacturer, style?) I would try Craigslist for sure.

Why only two pendants over the island? Or if two were your goal, why are they hung in that manner?

One of my island pendants came in broken, waiting for new one to ship.

Lisa, I like your ideas of trying to repurpose, I was thinking about putting 1 in my closet, after spray painting. If I do 1 and it doesn't come out good, I'll just donate them.

Because the glass on the chandelier appears to be golden in tone....spray painting it an unusual color will not look very good. I would donate or sell to someone who will appreciate it as is!
