We don't recommend coating this item with anything. it will tolerate getting wet very occasionally, but not often. The Quickmurals brand wall murals will tolerate water and can even be placed outdoors. Unfortunately the manufacturers do not supply us with samples.

thanks- i really don't think it should get wet, 2nd question this is very large print/ mural; is this file checked for being truly hi res, professional quality , so that the files don't pixelate when printed this size? ( I am a professional photographer ) & this is super important
