I don't understand the bit about being dormant for 3 years. Do you mean it had no leaves for that long? Or just that it didn't grow much.

Yes picture please! Figs tend to be pretty vigorous, so little growth over three years is very unusual.

Thank you for your interest. I will try to get pics, at 80 yrs old the computer has passed me by. Please note It was indoors for that time and watered sparingly.Only light it received was from a window.

Perhaps a friend,neighbor, or relative can help you with taking and then posting an image or 2.

Notice there are 2 large yellowing leaves there the beginning of this year all the rest is new growth.
