I'm sorry your pedal is still not working. It sounds like maybe you need a new one. Do you have more than one machine? Is it possible the pedals got swapped? I have two Brothers and a Babylock, and mostly the pedals are interchangeable, but sometimes they act funny if they aren't connected to the right machine.

LOL! Yes, Donna - I have another machine but believe me, there's no way these could get switched! The old one is 45 years old, avocado green Kenmore, foot pedal is hard-wired into the machine. It really sews good as far as piecing is concerned, but wouldn't want to try quilting a large quilt on it. Small things maybe. The Viking Emerald came back working but after I had sewed with it for a couple of hours it started messing up again exactly as it did previously.
