This sounds marvelous! So sad that I'm too far away & too busy this week....

still turning over whether we can get there tomorrow.

I went this past Saturday, it was totally worth it!

we did! There are a couple of places where you are literally walking through tunnels of flowers, it was so pretty. It was like walking inside of a giant rhododendron. We took our dog, and just fyi, there is a part of the trail dogs can't go down, the "rhododendron loop". I went down it a little ways while my husband held our dog, just to see if we were missing anything. It was pretty, tons of rhodies, but the whole park has tons of rhodies, so I don't think we missed much, plus it's something different to do next time!

I was worried that I would have missed the "peak" but there seemed to be places where the majority of the flowers weren't close to full bloom. It was hard to tell actually, there were just so many flowers everywhere. There were a lot of mushrooms too for my husband to look at :). Thanks NHBabs!
