Also, I have to choose tile for the backsplash and coordinating tile for the fireplace on the opposite wall. I have no idea how to proceed here with warm and cool mixed finished.

Sorry you are disappointed. There is a color variation for sure. Is the stone yard or store willing to do anything for you since what was installed is different from the sample?

Have you tried swapping out your lights to a slightly warmer temperature? That may be a way to warm things up a bit.

Our fabricator is reaching out to Caesarstone. No word yet if they will fix the issue.

Thank you for sending that thread truey. That is a lot of information and it is great to see that Caesarstone is working with customers to resolve these issues. I buy a lot of counter tops from Caesarstone and so far they have been very consistent.

Truey- I agree it could be worse. My husband calls them first world problems. I still need to pick the tile for my backsplash and fireplace. I am holding off until I can speak with a Caesarstone rep.
OTM- I am curious since you are you familiar with the brand. Does Cosmopolitan White normally read creamy white or blue gray?

I finally spoke with the Caesarstone rep and he said that the website claims that color may vary and he doesn't know how he can help. So, apparently it can vary from warm to cool and from off white to gray. The wall color is Benjamin Moore Classic Gray for comparison. I tried the soft white light bulb, but it doesn't help during the day in natural light. I have not chosen my backsplash tile yet. I need advice. How do I fix this color mistake?

At least you don't have white cabs that clash with it!

I'm no expert, but just discovered La Ravenna mosaic tiles, maybe you could have a designer come and show you something fun to minimize and distract but really add a new direction. I would paint your island a darker color.

Your counters looks like "Alpine Mist" to me. Do you know for certain that you received Cosmopolitan White?

Pull out some drawers and look underneath, please. Raw slab backs sometimes have manufacturing information.

It looks very nice. What did you end up choosing for your fireplace and backsplash? I also have to re-do my fireplace once I make a final decision on the countertop.

I have honestly not decided. Work life got in the way and I am admittedly a commitment phobe. Turns out tile is my achilles heel.
I am leaning toward a white tile that would match the veins. If anyone is familiar with the quartz and has a suggestion please chime in.

I think they gave you the wrong stone. It looks like its "'Georgian Buffs which is very similar in look and veining but on the grey side.

Gosh you have me worried. I am also looking at the cosmopolitan white but needs to be in a creamy beige tone. Hope I don't encounter the same issue.
