We are buying a brand new townhouse. It isn't built yet, so we get to pick out everything (yay!). Problem for me is, there are lots of styles and designs I like. I'm afraid I'll get tired of whatever I pick and want something different in two years. My biggest issue right now is, light or dark wood laminate floors? They give off different feels, and the whole place will look different depending on what I choose. Darker wood seems to be more classic to me, and might be more timeless. I also really like the cool ash-toned lighter woods that you see in the farmhouse styles, but I'm afraid that might be trendy and dated in a few years. Thoughts?
