What is the beehive type structure of stone's significance? Is it open inside? Curious about ethnic roots?

    This site is located in the mountains and has multiple natural stone outcroppings. The fog and mist that come through this area give it a mystical feel. This Cairn is not open inside. You can visit the link below if you want to know more about them.
