    Hi Jan - The walls are actually a "diamond plaster" finish. Very common here in Santa Fe, NM, but it's not a paint. It's a 3 step process like plastering the outside of your house, but the final coat is a very smooth finish with a mix of color and then a bees wax or okon finish applied at the end.
