Backsplash and Floor for Tiny Kitchen?

Hi Houzz

Going through a kitchen renovation and focusing on the flooring and backsplash now. Really like how this backsplash color looks with the busy countertop, but is this tile floor to busy? I placed a few samples of the tile on the floor.

Does the backsplash work? The cabinets are off-white shaker style and I get tons of natural light. The space has under cabinet lighting already.
Open to suggestions on backsplash and definitely flooring.

I think the shape of the tile is too busy for your countertops, and the color is too grey.

The colors clash. Decide which of the two choices you really like, and then look for something that works better.

Countertop and backsplash read cool....floor tile reads warm.

Avoid floor tile with a million tiny holes and crevices. It's a time consuming pain to clean. Backsplash tile is pretty.

Flooring is too yellow. Tile is lovely but I would choose it in white given that your counter tops are quite busy (beautiful busy, but busy).

Thank you all so very much for your comments. I'm posting different colored subway tiles to see if this is less busy. Tough trying to find backsplash that blends well.

Agreed with the floor tile as I felt in my gut it was too much, and thank you for confirming.

If my monitor is accurate, I like the white tile in the last picture. I think the other colors are too dark. I would see if they have that color, however without a beveled edge.

I like the white beveled subway tile the best. The others are far too dark.

Something vert plain for the floors like a simple porcelaine 12 x 24 tile and no bevel is using subway tile.
