I would put panels on all of the windows, especially the two by the sofa. They are a bit small and drapes would give them a bit more presence. If you want shutters or blinds, use the same on all windows.

I would do the same window covering on all the windows since this space is really "one". You could make the windows look larger on the living room space by doing a 28" wider rod than the window and putting drapes over the wall area, creating the illusion of a larger window.

Yes I am going to go for taller lamps and a different mirror, larger sofa etc. This is just a bunch of leftover items but the floor placement is what I wanted to get down. I am trying to get a full plan together before I purchase anything. I think the roman shades idea might work. I have seen in models how the larger window is treated differently a lot of the time when you have a small living/dining room and I would like to keep the larger window mainly uncovered. Thanks

Generally speaking a room should have the same type of window treatment. Options that I would consider would be shutters, blinds or roman shades. Any of these would add beauty to your space. Keep in mind what are you desiring out of the product before you purchase to make sure that you are getting the right product for your home.

You can use all of one type of blind (bamboo, wood, roman, etc. on all windows and then add panels to the larger window. This will let the spaces feel consistent while addressing the particular needs for each window.

I would put drapes\curtains on the living room windows and just blinds in the dining room if you want something different. But really the same on all of your windows would look best.

I view blinds as purely functional and not as window treatments. So, I would remove them. Then you can use drapery panels. If you must have blinds for privacy or light control I would cover them with some type of curtains.
