Kitchen: Drab to Fab!!

We had an old oak cabinet kitchen with walls closing it in. We took down the walls, put a long island where the wall was, extended hardwoods throughout, and it's an entertainers dream! We can talk, cook and be connected to the party now!

Amandaj17 - yes, nothing else quite compared. The Quartz isn't quite there yet. And the quartzite wasn't as white and beautiful.

Mera - thanks! Our island is 9 x 3.5 ft. From the wall in the dining to the double ovens is 24 ft. From the living room wall to the island is 14 ft. From the living room wall to the wall the kitchen cabinets are on is about 24 ft. We have a 43 in walkway from the cabinets to the sink and from the oven to the island it's 45 in walkway. Good luck with your project!
