Help With Fig Tree On An Epic Journey

I just moved from Pittsburgh to Tucson, and the good news is that all my plants made it, in the trunk! The bad is that the fig tree we had in the cabin with us didn't do so hot. It didn't die, but it's leaves are all curled and brittle. I don't think it liked the air conditioning. Is there hope for Figgy to bounce back? What can I do to make him happy again?
