Need Ideas - Entire House!

I am looking for a few ideas for my home.

- Door and Window Trim Colour; complimenting sea-foam green siding
- Backsplash and Window Treatment Colours and Styles; keeping a coastal, seaside-cottage-like feel for the kitchen
- Paint Colour; ideas for a crisp, clean-looking bathroom

It's a year-round home, on a hobby farm. The siding is identical to the middle sample (seafoam pearl) on the swatch below. It looks always looks different (between a pistachio green and a blue) in photos, but stays true to its colour when seen in person.

The backsplash is being replaced, and so is the rug. Yes, the vanity is going.

The knotty pine is all over the home, but there is plenty of natural lighting so it's not overwhelming. This particular bathroom does not have a window, so I'd like it to feel more open with lighter colours.

I was thinking of replacing the countertops with a wood slab, and mother pearl for the backsplash (as seen in this photo)... But want to hear other suggestions..

I would paint the whole house green and paint the all trim a medium gray. I would either leave the bathroom as is or white wash the walls.

Hi Seaside -- Is this a year-round or seasonal residence? A working farm? Is the exterior a blueish seafoam green? It looks more like mint ice cream on my monitor.

Are you replacing the backsplash that I think I see? Is the kitchen rug a recent choice/favorite?

Could a new sink/vanity and toilet be in the budget? I actually like the knotty pine in a setting such as yours. (It's not Dartmouth, MA is it?)

I totally love the seafoam green siding!! On the bathroom, looks like very nice new porcelain tile? It's a bit out of sync with the knotty pine, IMO. Here is a bath I designed recently, with similar tile... I like sharp white walls with it, and an accent wall picking up the tile tone.

I agree with the idea of painting the whole house the same color. There are a lot of whitewashed pine or painted pine in white. Google houzz beadboard and that's all you'll see.

Thoughts on a bright orange door for the exterior? It's a complimentary colour to blue - would it go well with seafoam? Would it make it look tacky?

What a cute home! Your kitchen, looks good with minimal change! Here are some ideas for the exterior, and the bathroom. It really just depends on your taste. Sometimes other homes look great with certain things, but yours, however, just might need personalization............

I would frame out the home just as Lkristine had suggested and yes, the window boxes are the Perfect addition. The right color of brown with seafoam green/grey is awesome also as an option. White accents around the house in blooms, seating and window trim/treatments would be a great finishing touch, as well as real working exterior white German style shutters.
As far as the backsplash goes, you may try the etched green glass or something a little more traditional in the way of larger sized seafoam green antique crackled subway tiles as an option.
I am completely in love with this house btw.... hope you keep adding updated pics.
