Here are a few photos of my new starts to join yours.

The girl foliage in the rear is Dolly Dimples, the leaves are just beautiful. It suckers like crazy though. The violet in the front is Optimara EverGlory.

Wow Amy! So exciting. Your Dolly Dimples might not sucker as much when it grows up. Ive read on here how younger plants sucker more. Where did you find that clear box in the first picture? Would love to find some of those. Cant wait for our fall swap!

Beautiful babies! I have a young Dolly Dimples and OMG sucker isn't the word!!! I keep plucking them off and they keep a comin' !!! Rosie

That clear box is two acrylic trays one on top of the other, purchased from Retail Resource. I bought them to line my window box. I can't use opaque trays, as they would block the sunlight to the lower shelves. I found these acrylic trays marketed for shops to display items. I am going outside to cut the grating now. The trays were not cheap and shipping was $45, but I looked high and low for months for clear tray that would fit my space and this was all I found.

I used the transparent plastic container for spinach from BJ. It's 12L x 6.5Wx4.5H. It's kinda small but it's stackable. It won't be as nice as the acrylic one but serve a temporary home for babies. :D

Thats a great idea! Never thought of those. I now look at foos containers all the time as potential homes HAH

Quite an array of really nice work! I look forward to the day when some of my propagation efforts begin to look like yours!

I am predicting bloom and doom. Each of these cute babies will reach 12 inches width - and they will push you guys out of the house and home. They will be looking Very Pretty doing it.

Irina if they grow that big then our work here is done. HAH

Politician's promise: and soon there will be 'an AV in every garage'

Bragu,,,,no. It is "an AV 3 tiered lighted STAND in every garage" !!!! lol Rosie

4 tiered - and more than one.

YES!!! YES!!! YES, Irina!!! That is what we all need, and after we fill that up? Well, build another garage!!! OH HECK YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rosie

Basements are better. Especially in winter. Start Digging!

I wish I could! We have a Michigan basement. I am 5'3 and I have to lean my head to the side to walk in it! House is sooooo old. Built in 1876 and somehow I don't think a useable basement was high on the list! Rosie

Rosie - probably in 1876 people were shorter - and you would be the tallest woman in town, a giant one ;-))

Those are looking great! I have Ma's Melody Girl and three of the Evers to go with yours, Amy. It's fun to see your babies. Would you like to see my spinach boxes? People laugh, but they work well! :) I'll have some young trading stock this fall, if anyone is interested. :) Here's EverPrecious!

Awesome Sue! Im so gonna get some spinach hah! I know Rosie myself and Amy are going to trade some this fall if you would like to join us!

So nice to see all the babies! I have a spinach container just about ready to use. Love those grocery store finds! BTW, if you don't like the shade the label gives, run a hair dryer over it for a few seconds and it will easily peel off.

The first thing I bought when I decided to put some leaves down was spinach salad. Great minds think alike:-)

I think I am going to have to like spinach salad! I know one thing,,,I am going to have to work on a serious trade list! See I have a list of the violets I HAVE, but now I need a list of what is available to TRADE! Let's see,,,where is that pencil and paper! Rosie

If you don't like spinach, they have mixed green. Or you can make spinach salad and gift to your neighbor. :D

Oh yes! Spring Mix boxes work just as well. It just happens that I had spinach boxes available this time. :) I would love to trade with the three of you, Staci, Rosie, & Amy! I'll look forward to it!

Your in Sue! I will coordinate something when fall gets here.

Lol, almost wish I could play...but I'm picky about what I buy...don't really like plant surprises (due to limited space) :) However, I look forward to seeing a thread as people's new acquisitions blossom.

I think we are talking leaves dbarron. I dunno, maybe a rooted sucker or small plant. This isn't a round robin so I guess you could ask for a pix before you trade. Why don't you come in the playground? There are no commitments that I can see. If you don't like anything you don't have to trade! Nothing ventured,,,,nothing gained!!!! We are all new at this and we are all just trying this out. C'mon and play! Rosie

Ok, this is getting worldwide hahah. How about come Fall I will make a post and whomever wants in we will gather there?

Sounds good to me!!!!!! Count me in!!!!!! Rosie

Me too. By then I should have quite a few that I can get rid of.

"Get rid of..." I like that Jeff

"Get rid of...," that's what we are waiting for Jeff!!!! lol Rosie

I can live with that....thanks facilitator Rosie :)

Well, not like folks get rid of trash. Thin out the herd of doubles and triples is more what I meant! It's just that many of them aren't ready to go just yet.

Hey, when my dog unexpectedly delivered me a half dozen puppies, I loved every one of them up till they day they got new homes and I was "rid" of them!

teehee,,,,dbarron anything I can do to help! HAHAHAHAHA!!!! Welcome aboard!!!!

Oh Jeff, we know. Believe me (confession) I will be glad to get rid of some leaves myself. BUT,,,,only to make room for new ones! HA! ya thought ya had me didn't ya!!! Rosie
