Cabinets that go to the ceiling would work better. Have you already had an electrician check that the wiring is up to code? I don't see GFCI outlets near the sink, for example.

Take it ALL OFF. All you will do is call attention to a dropped ceiling.

Do you make so many cakes at one time that you need all those cake stands? It's not decorative so anywhere else would be better.
