Would this not work? It depends on the design of the window, I suppose, but it provides you with the perfect place for the recliner, which still angles towards the sofa for conversation.

The room is too small for a sectional. You might want to consider a narrow-arm tight-back sofa and one or two matching chairs. That style may be referred to as "apartment size" simply because it is less bulky than a roll-arm sofa with a pillow back. Keep your tables small. Add art and lamps as needed, plus some accessories. You may want a storage ottoman which can be used as a footstool, and it can double as a small coffee table with the addition of a tray.

Does the TV have to be on the wall shown? Because the most obvious solution is one like Rina shows, but with the TV console on the wall opposite the couch (leaving the recliner or switching it to the opposite corner). It's pretty easy for an electrician to fish the wire over to a different wall, if that's all that's standing in your way. Trying to put furniture across the room so that it can face the TV will make walking paths very tight.

You can't really do seating on the bottom wall, as 16' is a long way for watching TV. You can, I guess, put your couch in the middle and put something unrelated (comfy chair and bookcase? game table?) in that lower corner, but it will feel tight. Spend $100 and have the cable wiring moved!
