They look nice. Those are definitely not Cherokee Purple, which is a smooth globe.

And nobody said you "couldn't grow" late varieties there.

First, Cherokee Purple isn't a late variety, although the flavor might be less than it can be in a cooler environment. But in good conditions, it's a great tomato that is mid-season.

Secondly, late varieties will grow fine where you are. They just will produce ripe fruit late in your climate and you won't get a lot of ripe fruit before the weather gets too poor to ripen a decent tomato. But if you're OK with limited production, that's your choice. Some people are happy if they just get a few fruits off of a plant. Others want a decent harvest if they're going to put in the effort.

Those aren't Black Krim either. It isn't a ruffled fruit like those. There's an old adage, "Don't count your chickens before they hatch. " ;-) Good luck.

I think there are strains of Black Krim that are pretty ruffled. I've definitely seen a smaller, smoother type and a larger, more ruffled type in various seed catalogs and databases.

Black Krim isn't a very late variety, either. It's mid-season.

Damned cats. Just when you do something right! Now you might not be able to follow it up with the same kind!

All of those varieties are very different. It should be easy to figure out which is which once they start coming ripe, unless the seeds were wrong to begin with.
