This looks great! I have a similar project I'm about to start. What are some of your measurements? Total height of banquette, seat width, back rest width at top and bottom,seat height, seat depth. What material did you use to finish it? I want to build this myself, do you have any framing measurements and material you used to frame it? Sorry for all the questions. Thanks in advance....

Can you tell me if the back wall has a slight angle? If so, how many inches is the base to the top?

There is no "angle" to the side or back wall. The table height is 30". Bench height is 18". Hope this helps!

Can I just reconfirm the measurements. So the bench height is 18" with cushions or before cushions? I Plan on a 3" cushion so having the height of bench stop at 16" to equal 19" total height with cushions.

So you stated the back wall is not "angled" but can you confirm if the base is 5" to 2" to the top? I think I read that in one of the comments. Trying to figure out the depth of bench.

I went with a 10 degree angle for the back rest. The base of the back rest is 5 3/4" and the top is 2 3/4" the total height of the back rest Is 18". My bench seat height is 16" I might do a a cushion (not sure yet). Project almost complete!!

Sorry. I thought you were asking if the actual wall was angled; yes - the back of the bench is angled. And yes - out seat height is 16" - with the cushion approx. 18" to 19" H (standard seat height is 18"). Looks good!

Vjlfpm- your project looks great! I read that you did it yourself. Can you tell me if it was difficult to get the angle cut for the back? My designer quoted me an extra charge stating the difficulty of that cut for the carpenter.

Vjlfpm yes, I realize there is the labor cost but it seems so simple. Anyway, did you go with the measurements of this bench by jamesthomas? 16" high before cushions and 24" depth including the angled back rest?

@ Jamesthomas: is that common to charge a substantial upgrade for an angled back rest because they consider it "custom?"

Seat height is 18.5 inches, back rest height is 19 inches ( with a 10 degree angle), seat depth is 16 inches, total depth is 22.5 inches, total height is 37.5 inches. Any other question let me know.
