Fulgor Milano Appliances

Hey Guys!!!

I am doing my research on commercial style appliances (36 inch gas 6 burner + Electric Wall Ovens + Fridge).

Has anyone used their appliances (specifically the commercial ones). Likes/dislikes/reviews?

I also love to bake. In hindsight I should have gotten the electric oven with the gas range. The pilot is a little tricky to light on the oven which can be annoying. I think if I had gone with the gas range/electric oven I would be totally satisfied. I really like the look and feel of the Fulgor oven over the Thermador though. The oven door doesn't heat up on the outside when you're baking which is a plus... you can use the cooktop and not feel the heat of the oven. It's one of my favorite things about the oven. I also really like the surface under the gas burners. It's seamless and is very easy to keep clean. I didn't like the surface under the burners on the Bertazzoni and Verona. If I remember correctly, I think they are stainless steel and there were grooves that I thought would catch spills and be hard to clean. I may be thinking of other brands, but that comes to mind when you mentioned those 2 brands.

Brandon, thank you, it looks great, I have decided to purchase it for myself. Did you buy any other Fulgor products? If yes, your review on them?

Does anyone have any experience with the Fulgor Sofia 36" Gas Range Oven? I'm trying to decide on a Thermador vs Fulgor. I like the price and the deal on the Fulgor, but it seems to be a virtually unknown brand and that concerns me. If anyone has any input or experience about the Fulgor brand I would greatly appreciate. My husband needs me to make a decision asap.

Did you ever make a decision on the Fulgor? I'm looking at their cooktop (gas) or rangetop AND the double electric oven.

We ended up getting the Fulgor Sofia 36" Gas Range + Oven. We had an issue with the pilot not staying lit on the gas oven. It was frustrating that it didn't work properly, but the issue was resolved and the store we purchased it from was responsive to our needs as well as Fulgor. After many repair attempts Fulgor replaced the oven. We are happy with it now. Overall, we like the unit and feel comfortable with our purchase.

odilan I am also debating ranges...both the Fulgor and Thermador are on the "short list" (as well as Bertazzoni and Verona). We will be selling our house this Spring, so I would like to have something I will enjoy cooking on (I cook and bake ALOT) until then but also something with "brand recognition" for a buyer. I'm driving myself nuts. Did you look at Berta and/or Verona?

Anyone have any new experience with either considering or actually purchasing/installing Fulgor Milano appliances? I am waiting to get to the point in our build where I can actually buy and install appliances, but in the meantime, I am really taken with the FM gas rangetop. I would happily get a FM single wall oven to go with it. Wondering about how the inside of the ovens are laid out. Roomy? Has anyone personally seen the different wall ovens, who can comment on the different button/knob options between models? Thanks!!!

I've been waffling for a LONG time, and FM is on the shortlist for a cooktop or rangetop. Problem is...nobody has them to view, much less test! I wanted my "hands on" before pulling the trigger. Looking forward to further responses on this.
