Pendants

I have a 6x4 feet island with 8 foot ceilings. How many Harmon RH pendants would you use and what size if they come in 11", 15", and 19" diameter?

Did you ever get an answer to this question? If so, please share, as I'm struggling with the same thing. Thanks!

Yes, our designer recommended 2 of the 11" pendants. I want 3 but think that might look too crowded on a 6 feet island.

Thank you. Interesting. My island will be 8' and even on an 8', I think 3 lights is crowded regardless of their size. Too busy in my opinion, but I guess it depends on the overall look you're trying to achieve. I'm likely going with two 18" pendants. I like the statement they will make. I just have to figure out how I center them over the island. Good luck with your project. Would love to see the end result.

Good luck! I recommend seeing the actual lights you're using in person before deciding. We're using the RH Harmon lights and they are pretty substantial in size, even the 11" ones. You need to take into account how high your ceilings are and what you're sightlines are around the lights. We are opening up to make one large kitchen/family room and any larger lights would get in the way of our sightlines to the hood above our Wolf range, which is the focal point of our kitchen. If you have a 8 foot island I would see if you could do 3 11-13" pendants. As many interior designers will tell you, lights in 3 just look more refined. I wish we had a bigger island to accommodate 3 lights.
