Is there a "files" area to search through with info about Hostas or is all the info on the threads? Like I want to know about mulch since slugs live in pine chips. I accidentally picked one up yesterday when I replanted DW. I was totally discussed with the slimy sticky feel of it:/. How are your hosta beds covered to keep the moisture in? I have a bed out in front of the house that has no mulch or chips only the pine needles that fall from our pines, and there are no slugs in that bed my hostas have no holes. However the hostas in that bed are smaller bz of the dappled sun ...not enough sun. tks
