Let me tell you my Optimaras Harlequin story ...

I grew Optimara Harlequin years ago ... and really liked it.

Then I didn't have it for awhile.

Last year I got a leaf from Selective Gardener and raised a few babies. I had so many babies overall that I gave several away. (I was intending on keeping one or two of each variety for myself).

And sure enough I had one of my babies bloom as Optimara Harlequin soon after I had given away the other starts.

Unfortunately, one day I walked into the plant room and found my Optimara Harlequin dead ... of crown rot.

Soon after, ... some of those to whom I had distributed plant starts began to report and show photos of their Optimara Harlequins blooming ... and the photos were stunning.

I kept hoping that one of my remaining starts would turn out to be Optimara Harlequin, ... but no such luck.

Finally, after many months ... and much pining ... I gave in and ordered a mature Optimara Harlequin from Selective Gardener a couple weeks ago.

It's a nice plant which arrived in bloom. I had blooms on my plants which were like blooms from BOTH of your plants ..
