It's a dining room. Do you really need to cover the window? If your dogs are messing up the blinds, it is because they are looking our the window while guarding your house. Why make it hard for the dogs to do their job? Put a few panels on the side of the window that wan't interfere, and let the dogs look out the window.

If you hang curtains and keep them closed, the pups will just push their heads in and they'll get furry and dirty (I know from first hand experience). Can you not just raise the blinds a bit during the day?

All I asked was how wide was the room divider was that I was considering purchasing.
