Very good octopus man!! Did you cut the leaves off? I hope you didn't water it.

Hi Stuart, thank you. When i cut the tap root back in April, I cut some of the leaves off and only left the small ones. I also didnt water it for weeks. I just repotted it today in a bigger pot and will start watering it tomorrow.

When I cut my soco adeniums roots to the bottom of caudex.I used a blowdryer to seal n dry all the sap bedore planting in rooting media

abrahmx, The "Centipede Root" is produced by cutting off the base above the roots of a 'Arabcium/TS, let say. Then after some treatment the plant is planted up and roots grow around the outside edge of the caudex from the cambium layer.

There are a number of different techniques in doing this and some are personal preference and what has worked for them before.

Not done any myself.
