Dining room furniture help

Here's what our dining room is looking like now:

I'm looking for a hutch and side table for my dining room and am a little torn on what to get (and it's a big commitment!! Want to choose correctly!). I'd like to anchor the table with Belfort Wing Chairs from Restoration in a sand linen finish to tie in the couch from our formal piano room:

For hutches, I like this one from Restoration Hardware in aged oak :

... but am uncertain if bringing in a new wood will complicate the space (The chairs are sort of a distressed gray). I also feel as though too much black will make it all too heavy. Is mixing these woods going to look ok?

Lastly, I want to swap out the chandelier for this one - just think it goes better with the table and chairs and ties in the bronze finishes from our mirrors in the other room.

Thoughts?

I wouldn't go with a full hutch but rather with something like this and add art on top of it

AND I definitely plan to bring in some color with some art on either side of hutch and above a side table on the other wall.... i know i'm lacking that pop of color now!

Any suggestions would be very helpful :)

I love the DR now. Do you need the storage? where will you put that hutch? it looks so inviting and open right now.

I don't think the proposed fixture is a good fit with the rest of your choices or the architecture of the house. With those chairs, and the columns, and the wainscoting, everything seems to be going in a neoclassical direction.

Maybe something like this:

I would not use those chairs in a DR. First of all, they are way too large and will mean that someone has to sit on the edge of the chair to eat. Second, crumbs getting down in the upholstery will be a mess.

Not crazy about any of the chandeliers. What you really need are curtains in this room to soften it. Don't like hutches - take up way too much room unless the room is huge and it's an enormous Georgian antique hutch, plus you do not have room for this. You MIGHT have room for a small sideboard on one side of the room. If not that, then a narrow console.

Remember, when people are sitting at the table, they take up a LOT of room!
