Cheaply? Paint; hardscape; landscaping. Big budget? Change the roofline; replace the windows (what are those beams splitting the windows?).

It is a very lovely home. Remove the three trees that appear to be way too close to the house. Paint the shutters an olive green, and paint the door ( I am guessing that there is one in there:) someplace ) a dark red/maroon. Then a complete landscaping/hard scaping will make this a showplace! Larger light fixtures, mailbox, etc. can then be added.

large spaces need a bundle to put a dent in them, hardscape/landscape wise. are you saving up an extra bundle? if you put $100K on top of the price of this house, would you buy a different house?

(we just spent $35K for a pool area redo... a small part of that was pool related but the rest is what anyone would do in a small back yard. a very small area of the backyard. some fence...some plants... some poured concrete...3 steps... be warned!)
