I would go with black with simple glass so illumination is nice. However, you definitely need a bit larger scale than what you have.

The first light you posted is leaning Craftsman... since you didn't take a photo of the whole house? I don't think it's a Craftsman though from what I can see. Keep it simple, not too ornate and again.... a bit larger in scale as the light you have now are lost in size..

A copper would look nice agains the bricks. I don't think it has to match the railing.

as Porter stated, you need something of a decent size. (you can always paint anything you get w/a metallic copper paint if you want).

Thanks everyone! Yes, I definitely love Craftsman design, but my house was built in 1900, but isn't really a Victorian, so I'm not sure what it is--that'll be another post! Beth H--do you have a source for your last one? I like an amber frosted glass because it deters moths.
