Small laundry / mudroom

I have a small laundry mudroom with exit to garage.
There is a small closet with I use to sort my laundry. And opposite is washer, dryer, sink.
I've been playing around with the idea of rearranging the room and stacking the washer/dryer 27" width. The closet door is on the other side, it doesn't open to the stairs as per plan. I would love to have a bench.
Any suggestions would be welcome.
