I love those spindle chairs when I've seen pictures of them. Flo, you have sat in one and found it to be too stiff or too soft or what? Do the back spindles hurt?

They are quite deep which are fine for very tall people. The arms are not soft and they are overall quite large in terms of overall footprint. They are nice to look at though.

Thanks for the information, Flo. We'll let Melissa think that one through, but I do think they would look fine with her sofa if she decided to go that route. Would you agree?

Melissa, what did you think of the Bora Bora chair? I believe you felt it would survive the cat. The cushions are available in several fabrics. Some of the reviewers mentioned that when they selected one of the custom fabrics, they received the white ones as well. Is this too "cute" or casual or porch-like? I think it would be fun and cheerful, but maybe you want that to be the role of the pillows.

Well, great if you love the spindle chairs and the size works. I wonder if you can get fabric samples. I worry the color will look like you tried and missed to match the color of the sofa.

Fabric swatches have finally arrived!!!! I decided to go for the awesome swivel chair that Kim posted. I do have some neutral choices as well, but they all look so similar to the couch I thought they would be too boring. Thoughts?

I have more questions than answers right now LOL. I like cozy textures and high durability, so definitely consider those when making your selection. Do you have the names of the fabrics, so we can see them on the chair on the website?

Are three and four the same sample? I like their herringbone pattern and the color seems to work with the wall color in the adjoining room. Number one kind of gives a nod to the wicker we hoped for, so that could be cool. The teal color of number six is so pretty and gives a good punch of color. Number nine is great in that it's almost a perfect match, but the texture helps set it apart. Number two coordinates well with the sofa, but I worry that it will clash with the green wall. Number seven has a nice nubby texture, but it might be too yellow for your sofa (?)

So...I like 1, 3, 6 and 9. Love to hear your (and everyone else's) thoughts.

3 and 4 are the same.... I also really like the ones you picked, but prefer #5 over #6. Any of them would look good with the paint color in my kitchen (Carolina Inn Club Aqua- it’s a valspar color, but BM paint).

I love the color of your kitchen! As you can see, this is what you have vs. what I was seeing on my monitor...

After looking at the fabrics on the chairs online, I really like the Nobletex ones because of the texture and because I like them both with coral and teal. Is the fabric on your sofa a microfiber or like a faux suede or velvet - or is it smooth? If it isn't smooth and you want a contrast with fabric textures, the Lizzy ones might offer that, right? They seem smoother to me. Here are a couple of mock-ups with the Nobletex fabrics. At first glance, I would choose Platinum, but I think Rain is probably lovely in person.

Love your chairs! They look so inviting and comfortable and the styling is great!! Worth the wait. Aside from colors of teal, navy and coral, any style choices? Seems you have a couple styles going here. A little farm house with the coffee table, transitional in the chairs, and eclectic on the long sofa. The views are so great and I love the walls now. Really frames the views. Nice job!

Yes I got the nobletex rain fabric. :) it’s lovely in person. The chairs are very comfy and they swivel, but don’t glide.

I do have a lot going on as far as styles Flo. I’m an art teacher so I think I fall in the eclectic category- if I like it then it’s my style, lol. The only things in the room that need to stay are the chairs and the couch. Everything else can go.....so if the farmhouse table doesn’t work it can go.

There is very little wall space for art. I’ll take a picture when I get home from work.

Let me know if I'm on the right track with a round coffee table, Flo. I wanted to recommend something with a metal cage base and wood top, but decided the black base would be lost in the dark carpeting. Love this one, though. I think it's more gray than yellow (hopefully).

Kim. I like a round coffee table, but I would prefer open bottom. I have one I could move in this room.... but it’s farmhouse looking too.

I wouldn't do anything except possibly on the wall behind the door. Nothing high, just not worth it and out of "visual" space.

I don't know what your budget is, but this marble top table is gorgeous. Rustic and elegant. It was $2,400 but is on clearance for $600.

Do you have a local store like TJMaxx or At Home to browse pillows and lamps? Or even a flea market, thrift store or antique shop for something unique? I bought my last couple of pillows from etsy. So many beautiful fabrics and talented folks.

I kind of like the recycled wood coffee table you have. Keeps things casual and inviting. A pop of color in a pretty arrangement on the table and one low color coordinate dish would be sufficient. I wouldn't load it up. Leave room for people to set a drink or prop up feet. Then pick up bright colors for pillows on sofa. Not too many, because they will end up on the floor. Maybe a couple floor pillows or a stack of colorful floor pillows might work for younger folks!

These come in different colors, a stack of 3 would be fun. Then get coordinating pillows for sofa.

Kim- yes I have a home goods, at home, Tj maxx, and lots of thrift shops and antique shops near me. It’s just finding time to shop, lol. I have have 2 boys 11 and 13, they keep me running every which direction!

Cute pillow cover. You would have to request the seller make one for you as this one has been sold. But, there are tons of choices on etsy if you want something more modern, geometric or bolder colors.

Flo, what do you think about an area rug over the carpet in the sitting area?

If there is a good bit of traffic in and out of this area, rug on rug can be difficult. They tend to curl and can cause tripping. It would be nice to have a lighter look. Guess we could try one.

Love those pillows, Melissa! Agree with Flo the first two would look great together, and certainly bring out your inner artist. Love the color blocks from that seller (Jillian Rene), but very pricey. Keep in mind when pricing them out, these will probably not include the pillow inserts, just the pillow covers.
