That's nice. But your design is what many people just do with PVC pipe, which is somewhat cheaper than metal conduit pipe. The metal conduit (e.g. RMC, EMT) pipe is strong, but if you go with schedule 40 PVC conduit, it's hard to imagine that you'd have weight problems. Also, unlike galvanized steel, it'll last forever when buried in soil.

I use wood. 2x3's for the uprights almost anything for the crossbeam 1x2, 1x3, or 2x2,

I use jute twine for the strings. Makes it easy to just cut the stem off at the ground with a pair of loppers then cut the string. Either compost it or just toss it.

Great for tomatoes or any other vining crop. Saves space and is fairly cheap. & easy

Been using schedule 40 3/4 inch PVC pipe for many years now. They last forever.
