I would paint them a crisp white

Add hardware to the front of the cabinets.

What is the style of the rest of your home? That will help decide what white to use.

I know I need to add hardware. Well, I really don't have a style yet, however, it will be modern and traditional .

Benjamin Moore white dove is often one of the recommendations

And crisp white? Any particular name and brand?

Oops. Just saw the second picture with the brown in the granite and brick floors. Forget the gray! But i still would not go with a crisp white. I a softer creamy white would be better. And i would still get a bright color in yor accessories.

With the black appliances and brown counter tops, I would do dark brown oiled bronze for cabinet hardware........black would also work ...
.

That's a good idea. Thank you Bzb22. I agree with a warmer white, otherwise to harsh against black.. I'm glad you saw the brick floors. Now for the hardware. You wouldn't go with brushed nickel to match the faucet?

And for accessories, can you elaborate? I'm not the brightest bulb in the closet with decorating in a budget.

Brody? No brushed nickel for hardware. I love the idea of the dark oily copper hardware , but then it won't match the faucet

Brushed nickel would be a nice look w warm white. But you can go with a more polished finish, too. Go to Lowe's or Home Depot and grab one of several different styles and bring them home after you paint the cabinets. Then take back what you don't want and buy more of what you do. I would stay simple and on the more modern side. For accents, can be as easy as a bowl of limes or oranges on the counter. Doubles as a healthy snack :0). Try a couple if colorful dish towels on the range handle, and a bright rug near the sink. Find a small framed picture if a lime or orange (or print one and get an inexpensive frame yourself - and prop it up in front if the backsplash with a cookbook or two in front of it. That will help tone down some dome of the black, too.

Wow, thank you so much bzb22. I appreciate it, very much.
