I thought I might have lost all of my dahlias to a virus but they seem to have turned out ok. I planted Santa Claus, Babylon Pink, Lilac Time, Lake Tahoe, and a random mix from Lowes. I had a Kelvin Floodlight come out of the mix and a dark purple variety that has only produced one flower but has tons of buds right now. I'm not happy with the color of the SC, but it produces a ton of flowers. The picture of the SC is better than the reality. The colors are muted and salmon-y colored in life. The Babylon is beautiful. It grows strangely. The stems to the buds are REALLY long and don't have a ton of foliage, but it's still producing flowers well. This is my first year to grow from tubers. Second year to take care of dahlias.
