For the sake of keeping XXL option and look, how about, for the oven stack, main oven + warming drawer, and combi steamer XXL under bench next to it?

Just seconding info about trim kit for XXL. My Pirch rep said late this year as well.

Heard about a company called TrimKit USA that makes SS trim kits for high end appliances. Going to check them out for the XXL.

Thanks for that recommendation. We decided to stack these ovens with the CSO on top. We are still holding out hope that Miele releases an official trim kit for it, but if not, our architect contacted TrimKit. Here is what their rep said:

1. The price for our 30” side trims is $499.95 pr., plus $25.00 freight
2. FYI, being the best trim kit manufacturer in the world, we pay attention to every possible detail, and we run the grain horizontally to match the Miele products
3. Miele uses us for all of their custom trim kit work

This option gave me confidence to make the leap on this layout.

I am considering stacking the XXL CSO over the 24" CO and am a little concerned about the CSO being too high? Can anyone share the height they installed the ovens? Any photos?

Our remodel is finally done, and one of these days I'll post photos. But we ended up doing CO on the bottom, warming drawer in middle, and XXL CSO on top. There were a variety of aesthetic and functional constraints that were driving this, but one of them was having the warmer drawer at an accessible height. While I haven't used the appliances extensively yet, I found this arrangement to be pretty good. For me and my wife (both of us are tall), the height of the top appliance is good and having warmer in the middle makes it really easy to warm plates, put dishes in there when they come out of oven, etc. The only minor issue is that the bottom oven is pretty low. Most people might opt for the layout that kfpwvt chose where they put a storage drawer (for racks, etc) on the bottom to put the bottom oven a bit higher and make it more accessible. If we weren't trying to sandwich a warming drawer in this layout, I likely would have done that for sure.

Regardless of what you do, would highly recommend that you try to mock up you're proposed layout so you can get some sense of how it would line up in real life.

I have been researching various Miele combinations for the CSO and the CO both 24 inches wide. I had designed an alcove in the kitchen 90 degrees from the island for stackable CO and then the CSO XL. Both are the Sensotronic because the CO 24 inches doesn't come in the M touch. The CSO is unplumbed because I was told that filling the water and emptying the condensation tray is really easy. I am now re-thinking these choices. I thought getting the CSO XL was nice for daily cooking along with the induction cookop (Miele 30 inch or 36 inch, still deciding). But in looking at the XXL, it seems I could just get the XXL M touch and plumbed.

Any thoughts: Is having the CSO XXL enough. I hear it takes an 18-turkey. The only reason to get the CO is perhaps for making a pizza, but the CSO XXL also has an intensive heat option. This is for a new home construction. All the Miele literature shows these gorgeous kitchens with all these stackable appliances. But having a single XXL at the right height as a wall unit also seems elegant, especially the M touch. All appliances are black and countertops are soapstone.
