Are you looking for a little color? You've got a nice neutral palette so I think there are a lot of possibilities to either stick with something neutral or a real show-stopper. My vote is a quartz that would match the brick.

Yes. The brick backsplash is the same as the wall. I installed it myself and didn't like any of the stopping options so it went on all the walls.

I do not mind some color just not too dark. And I wonder about movement considering I intend to keep my wood grain.

Love the brick and the cabinets! So pretty. (And I'm glad you're not painting the cabs - I love the natural wood too.) If you're open to color, I think Costa Esmeralda granite is very pretty and could look gorgeous in your kitchen. I've seen some very pretty pale Crema Bordeaux and Typhoon Bordeaux (in pictures) as well, but some are dark. I think you'll want to visit stone yards and look at the slabs in person. If you have an extra brick tile to bring along that would help.

I would keep a really simple pattern-specks/flecks or near solid and go into the gray family. I like your elements but there is a lot of warmth ,maybe a bit much for me.....the right gray or cool khaki shade would balance all that out. Get some samples and lay them out.
