This time of the year, I try to spray a high quality H.O. [Horticultural Oil] like All-Seasons - about every 2 weeks on the new growth - and areas with scale. The oil will suffocate the eggs... and will likely be needed to be applied multiple times. Neem can be used, but it will kill most beneficial insects - - - I'd love to hear others chime in here - - does that pesky whitefly have many enemies?

Thankfully, I have not had whitefly infestations this year. But, the challenge is to get an evening spray in - with the knowledge that the sun will not be intense the following day; nor over 85F. I missed my opportunity the last few nights... maybe tonight.....

Thanks, George! I'll get some All-Seasons today and spray it in the evening. We are looking at a week of mid to high 70s here, with lows only going to 60!
