First thing is to pull your seating up so the arms are almost touching. Then I'd go with natural colors--probably a jute or sisal rug--and lots of texture.

I would put art on both walls. You can almost never have too much art. But make it real art from the masters, or from working artists. No junk from the Hobby Lobby shelves for this place.

This room deserves some chairs that don't look like black marshmallows. ;-)

You asked about curtains. Do you really need them? Looks like you might for privacy, but I would not hang curtains over those incredible windows. Look at shades--inside mount so the casings show--Romans, cellular, woven woods.

Sorry, you can't do luxurious with those sofas. That's an absolute no-go. And what I've shown you IS a modern look, though perhaps a bit more casual than you'd like.

I'd do something like these woven wood shades in a natural tone on the windows.

Since you have nothing in your ideabooks, it's hard to know what look you're going for. How about you find some rooms on Houzz that you love, save them to a living room ideabook, and then we can help you make it happen. Keep in mind, though, those three puffy black pieces are going to limit what you can do without it looking incongruous.

No vases of sticks. No junk from the shelves at Hobby Lobby. Before you buy another thing, you need to look at a million well-designed rooms and hone your sensibilities. You have a stunning room with stunning windows and it deserves more than a slapdash treatment. Take your time and save your money and by the time you have a clear vision of what you want, you'll be able to replace the man cave sofas. ;-)

AJ E, all the designs you've saved in your ideabook would be perfect for your room. You'll notice not one of them has big dark puffy sofas. Are you ready to send those to the basement...or should we make a plan to be implemented in stages? You could get rug and tables and art and lamps for now with an eye to replacing the seating down the road.
