I really like this loft option as I have a small room and twin boys : ) my problem is the long dimension is an inch too long so I was hoping to look at instructions to see if I could manipulate the ladder or guardrails on the long side to get the inch and maintain the integrity of the furniture. Do you think that is a possibility with this model?

Hi Deb. I think it could be possible for a skilled woodworker or master carpenter to modify it somehow. The bed ends, side rails, guardrails and mattress supports (wooden slats) are all shipped in seperate boxes.
