Nope, no channels at all! It's the only leaf like that.

It's a Fernwood growing Mikado style and then repotted normally. I have 2 of them.

I think you're both right and it is a fernwood, although like I said, only one leaf has the channel. Why do the pups look so different?

Also, what is mikado style? This is my first sans plant.

Mikado style is when the plant is grown in a 2 inch pot so the leaves and plant stay compact. This makes them good for offices or home decoration.

You will find, Cassandra, that many juvenile Sans look radically different than a mature plant. A leaf cutting especially will produce a rosette, even if the adult plant isn't that way.

Same goes with seedlings. Juvenile vs mature.
