We are working on remodeling a house and are looking for a light fixture to hang over the staircase. The staircase is relatively long, so 24" fixtures feel a little small. Because it is at the top of the stairs, it will be visible from pretty close up and may be visible from above (if you are tall). The house is modern (smooth stucco outside, smooth sheetrock inside, tile, dark bronze alum. windows and overall modern look. We are trying to keep the budget for the fixture under $3000. Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated.
