Small buffet needs makeover

Debating whether to give this away to someone with more skills! Total novice posting here to see if any of you have ideas on improvement ... As you can see needs TLC and not sure where to turn. Open to all suggestions. Was formerly used as tv stand but thinking of using to store linens or dishes or office supplies. Thanks

Good opportunity to experiment with using chalk paint or any paint for that matter. Have someone repair the draw for you. I would put handles on the drawers, too.

Thank you! Now of course I never thought to google shutters... Some beautiful redos here. I've seen others bothch the shutters and was wondering of it was too tricky to psint in between the slats, but I see others have managed to make it work beautifully. Awesome ideas. I've got s bunch of leftover paint just waiting. Regards. !!

Remove the other drawer and use as open shelving. See: http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/no-drawer-no-pr-116944
