Hoya cv. Viola is a deykeae/vitellina hybrid.

It will be slow growing, being a deykeae hybrid, and can be quite picky about it's environment and watering.

It prefers warm, brightly lit areas (no direct sun) and does not like completely drying outbut will not tolerate soaked/soggy medium or wet feet.

It will decline rapidly if conditions are not to it's liking, but it is VERY easy to root, so, if needed, cuttings can be taken, and a new plant can be easily made.

I probide mine bright, indirect sun (in the winter, it is under 6500K LED light bars), and when it goes inside for the cold seasons, I provide it with bottom heat.

I don't allow it to be exposed to temps below 60F, and it stays in my grow tent, onthe less humid side, where humidity averages around 40-60%.

I water it when the top inch and a half of my potting media is dry.
