Does vine width = age?

So i brought the off color Carnosa inside and put it in my bathroom (indirect east sunlight) and gave it some fresh plant food. I'm pleased to say its overall color has improved a tad.

Unfortunatly cannot confirm if this was an EA plant as i thought it might be (friend A took and then lost the growing card since it had the price tag on and they get a little fussy bout that) but some of the leaves still look yellow orangish but still seem healthy

However I and friend B were looking over it to see if she wanted a cutting when she pointed out straw/pencil thick vines in places and wanted to know if this meant it was a very old plant and if so could the off colorness be a symptom of age?
