We used this type of shower enclosure in France. Not practical if one of you is an"enthusiastic bather"! Water all over the floor in the rest of the bathroom. Suggest you hang a tension rod in the space and use half a shower curtain to determine if this style enclosure will keep enough water out of the rest of your bathroom. The dimensions are determined by your room, typically half the width of the opening.

If floor levels are done properly and the drainage is well done like in this room, there won't be any water on the floor around you, it will directly go away. We think about every detail when creating spaces.

Of course the glass needs to be cleaned, but my client got exactly what she wished for and is very happy. No enclosure is needed because no water goes beyond the shower wall.

Dimensions here are about 2500x900mm, but you should think about your space as unique piece. You should figure it out by yourself or with the help of interior designer which dimensions to choose.
