Take it all back. A gallery wall should be full of actual art that is meaningful to you. Go buy something from the high school senior at the art show, or the local coffee shop gallery. Don't be in a rush to fill a wall full of Cheepchinesecrapola tickytacky. Blank space is better than that.

And a bird says "cheep", the stuff I bought is cheap because that is my budget right now.

Lastly, my daughter helped me pick out the pieces and I plan on putting family photos in the frame. Therefore, it's meaningful to me. I'm not a professional, I don't have money, and I'd like to hang a few things on my wall.

HI -- You are so funny Sophie and I agree ... too many little things and nothing works together . I personally dislike pretentious sayings and such but I love family photo groups and family history . Decide what style your going for first ... country ?.... modern ? historical ? Start with a main piece like a bigger mirror or a painting and please don't pick a painting just for it's colors ... pick something that you love or speaks to you . I love the wall color and the chair works with it ... really nice .

I just helped my niece with a gallery wall, she doesn't have much of a budget. We headed to Hobby Lobby, her 5 yrs old daughter helped us pick out things, BTW some of her pieces remind me of yours. We went back to the apartment laid it out on the floor and started playing around with it. Her hubby came home and helped us hang it. It was a great time. She just wanted her apartment to be cozy and a nice place for her hubby to come home to. As your budget allows, you can always trade things out that your not in love with. Everything I have hanging on my walls have meaning to them, however I have years of collecting and people buying or making me things. Sophie, you always make me laugh! You would be a riot to have a beer with!!
